Finali Got a day of leave from boss after weeks of hard work... hehe...
Went to visit mum in the morning before heading to view the tiles i wanted for the renovation work of my toilets in the house. Got a contractor for the job which also means that i wont get professional advice lo... My sister and I jus walk thru doors of sample walls and just select the ones that we like lo....
Anyway final decision would be theme of red and white for the master bedroom whereas black and white for the common toilet. Spend another 2 hours or so choosing other toilet accessories..... tired!!
Did some shopping at far east, met my church fren jieying for dinner and ended my day with some shopping in marina square!!!
I did enjoyed my leave.. yeaH!!!

Had my first Tennis lesson on sat with sister, her fren(Joelle) and Joelle's bf with my sister's coach @ CCK stadium. Heh, i'm on the "beginner" track with joelle's bf. Cos sister and joelle quite advanced le... =) Waking up at 730am on a saturday was reali a chore to me, but for the lesson it was all worthwhile, even though i'm now suffering from wobbly hands =P
Our first lesson started with how to hold the racket, learning forehand and backhand. Heh it turned out that it wasn't as easy as what i thought.. Missed several ball that the coach threw over. So paiseh. But the coach was very encouraging, he kept saying it's okie, after i stuck my tongue out for the silly mistake i've made =P. But i must say I get stressed when i'm with the coach one on one and the other 3 pairs of eyes are watching... heez...
He keeps emphasing that dun need to use too much strength to get it over to the other side. And i hit one of his ball out of the court lo.. over the fences.... super PAiSeh.... I was tinking what a 大力士 i am.....Tried as much as i could, i managed to keep the rest of the balls in the court..... =)
Got a taste of overhead serve, only managed to get a few balls over... tink i still have alot of room for improvement =)
After the lesson, all of us went for a run at the track, i managed to complete 5 rounds but it feels weird without my ipod..
Went for Graduate photo shooting session at DaDa Studio at Jurong West at 5pm. It's kinda the first time seeing daddy in his suit. HahAh. But quite shuai i must say. The service was great as the auntie dressed my sister and i in our gowns and ensured that we looked our best.
An hour of photoshooting totally tired mi out... with all the "staystill" poses and "stay still" smiles...hahahaha... A little shot while daddy was taking his shot =)
The evening ended with dinner @ far east n shopping trip with PS..... =)
Subsequently, jo joined us and we went for the famous rochor tau huey.... yummy!!!!!!!!!! I love tau huey....... n strawberry milk too.. hahahaha

Past 2 weekends had been the times that i reali enjoy myself. Have been working OT on weekdays but Thank God that i dun need to work during these 2 weekends.
For the first weekend on sat, i met PS as usual for our amore class. But we decided to jus go for one class in order to shopping. I was dying to shop. =(
Had our lunch @ swensens after class, had our giant prawn and fruit salad, fries and maincourse and banana crumble =) yummy!!
Had my dosage of retail therapy for the rest of the afternoon before we headed to meet jo's hubby with jo to view the wedding site.
We went to raffles city sushi tei for dinner. Yummy x 1000!!! Will be heading there the next time with shiJia!!!! yeah!!!
Dinner was great with good food and great company. Enjoyed my dinner thoroughly. Yummy!!!!!!

Sunday was an outing with dad, uncle john (daddy's best fren) and sister after church to eat Jumbo seafoood.... Daddy was super happy and excited when we say we are going to eat crab. He enthusiastically waited for mi to come back from church since 5pm.
Had chilli crab, drunken prawns, steam fish and my fav Brocoli with scallops... =)
Yummy!!!
The dinner was very enjoyable as uncle john shared his life story, and his story regarding his job. You will never know what weird customers that taxi drivers face until you talk to him =P

Heh, this blog post was inspired by shan's little innocent question when we were on our way to gym class yesterday. She asked "What's your new year resolution for the new 2008?"
Hmmm, i gave it one thot and told her tt i wanted to have a smooth journey thru my peak. On another thot, i told her i would give it a thorough thought and taDa here's what i've got.
Recap of 2007:
1. Graduation
2. Graduation trip to HK in June. This is a brand new experience to travel to HK with shijia for 7 days. Thankful for a travel mate, roomie and of course phototaking mate. Heh.
3. The start of a new career.
4. 2007 had been a challenging and tiring year for me. Had a fair share of my joy, sadness, pain, and the lost of loved one. Reality thrown in my face and forced to face up to things that i dun want to and to grow exponentially. My msn nick for the past months sums up what i feel and face " 我们每天都在上人生不同的工課, 我只是上了我不想上的快捷班" In each event since the start of the year allowed me to learn what i have not learn throughout my 24 years. But i still believe that everything happens for a reason. There is a season for everything. There were really times when i wanted to give up and just throw everything aside but I thank God for bringing me thru all these in this year. And all the friends who have stood by me through each journey, loving me for who i am. =) And my loveable sister...
2007 is going to come to a close and i would say that i have ended this year victoriously. Overcoming each obstacle that i face =)
Going to start the new 2008 with a stocktake at 3am and flying off to MyanMar in the afternOOn..A unique way to start a new year, but looking forWard to the unexpected.
For my New yeaR resolution:
1. Have a smOoth journey thru the peak (tis part is the one tt i told Ps) and putting in my best effort in everything that i do so that mummy will be proud of me =)
2. Lose abit of weight and stop growing horizontally..ie going to more gym classes... hehe...
3. To stay happy and bubbly..never to lose my smile
4. To read one psalm a day
5. To learn tennis with my sister
6. To buy rollarblades
7. To continue to learn and grow in each challenge that i will face in 2008

It's been 2 months since i last blogged. Must pen down my thoughts before the peak period approaches in january.
November hadnt been smooth too, coz daddy's sick. But there are definitely positive that is happening in my life. My dad have finally accepted christ and is actively attending church and cell group. This is one breakthru that had ever happen to me since my mum's death. He wasnt receptive about accepting christ when one of his frens shared with him, or me trying to get him to pray during my mum's wake. But one day, he just went to church with his fren and actually said he would want to attend church. He's now attending church and cell group weekly. Baptism class for him starts next january. Hope that more changes will be seen in his life =) i'm hopeful.
Took 2 days off in the month of october to get a well-deserved rest before the peak. Continued my taiwan drama marathon at home on the first day of rest. Watched 2 TW drama recently, 恶魔在身边 and 换换爱.
Currently watching 微笑 pasta n romantic princess =) guess i have reali gt addicted to them.. heh...
Brought my dad out to walk walk on the second day of my break. We went to make passport for him and made a trip down to sentosa. Managed to catch the new MRT into sentosa from vivo. Heh, guess it's nothing much, alighted @ imbiah lookout, walk around, took some pictures and sat down for a cup of coffee.
Afterwhich we went to the red star restaurant for an afternoon tim sum. =) yummy!!!
Second batch of my china scholars are here le. Saw a concert performed by my last batch SM2. It's a joy to see how they have grown over the past one year and i'm reali proud of them. Being with them let me understand that i received more than what i have given to them. The genuine concern and care that they have shown and gave me a great push. Maybe concentrating to meet their needs and care for them allowed me to take eyes off myself. Maybe should quote what PS have always believe in, maybe the best way to cheer urself up is to cheer someone else's.

Just got discharged from hospital on friday. I've been sick on sunday for vomitting more than 8times, GP diagnoised it as stomach flu on sunday and went to see him on tues since my tummy isnt getting any better later diagnoised as gastric. Wednesday ultimate pain, saw him for the third time and he referred me to A&E.
The doctor diagnoised that i might have ate smthing wrong....Had 1 litres of drip and some painkiller injected into the drip. But after the drip, i was still having pAin. Doctor wasnt sure if the pain will go away if i were to go home, so i was admitted...
Had sleepless night on the first night of stay, had 2 jabs of painkillers ..... =(
In the end only managed to catch some sleep in the morning when everyone was awake...
Was discharged on friday and doctor only told mi the pain will go away in a weeks time....but till nw pain is lessen and less intense. So i got to tahan abit if not my liver cfm fail with all the painkillers....lolz
Back to work on monday. And my staple food since then was fish soup mee sua with no oil.......... no nice food for mi... i guess got to be good ger for nw until my pain go awAyyYYYy.....
This coming friday will be co annual D n D le..... looking forward... =)

Recalling happier moments:
Went out with my sister's cell people after church service. And her fren's lil ger is super cute. She's super intellectual + cute. And she have super cute sandals. But had the chance to played nanny and fed her lunch.(and i pass the test to qualify as a nanny tt's what the lil ger's mum said) Lolz... I used all my accessories to keep her occupied and stll to eat her lunch. Even risked my phone and she took her own pictures. She brings out the child in me =) Here's one of our creation:

Finalli resume to my workout schedule with shan on sat @ Amore after 2 weeks of rest and recuperate. It was fun as usual although our class was changed to pilates due to last minute changes. We decided to go to the gym instead. Walk on the thredmill for 30 mins before hitting my target of 32 km. Must buck up for the bull run on 12 oct..I must start jogging instead of walking ;( Had our usual lunch date after workout @ woodlands foodcourt n headed home to change and meet sisTer in town.
We had our sisters day out --------- a shopping, dinner cum movie session.
Had my favourite sakae sushi for dinner @ heeren. Sister bought me a cute lil froggie (prince froggie ;P) from sakae after much persuasion or should i say negotiation. =) hahaha anw thanks sisteR....

Went to first service today with sister and shujun because i'm going to the ZOOOOO!!!!.. Had our fav tim sum porridge for breakfast before heading to church.. but reali missed having breakfast with mummy before church. =(
Was telling sister today in church that i missed mummy and she said mi too... i also dunnoe what to say =(
There are many things that are left unsaid between the both of us. But we both knew that things were never the same as before. The only thing i can do nw is to take good care of myself. Memories will always stay no matter what...
Our plan to go to the zoo started out with jo asking mi if i wanted to go to the zoo and asking jia along too... Some event hosted by the radio stations as they are doing some charity program. COnsidering that the last time i went to zoo was like 4 years ago with shan @ company event, i decided to just go.

Went to town with shan yesterday, haven spend time with her for quite awhile. We went to VillAge @ HeerEn for dinner. Met a cute auntie promoting chocolates in front of ViLlage… She gave us a lot of samples… yummy… In the end, we bought 2 small boxes of chocolates for ard 30 bucks… The chocolates gave us some biz ideas “blink blink”, we should experiment and come out with our signature chocolates and sell them….. super good money sia… lolz…

Today went to Isetan private sale with wendy….. thanks to shan darling… lolz… I sounded super excited with the sale. and I tink I’m a mountain tortoise….. But I enjoyed myself =)

Time flies and Covocation 2007 marks the end of my studying journey (hahaz i hope so) and a new phase of life for mi..

A big hugs and thanks to those who have added colours and our paths have crossed in my university life. Be it sweet, bitter, sour hahaha it was a learning journey for mi. Memories and experience will definitely mould me into a better person in time to come.. =P

Afterwhich , met michelle for a unique national day celebration.. We went to JEC for an iceskating session. Hmm it's been really ages since i last ice skate. i think it should have been 4 years back or so.Hahaha sweet memories..However, 4years of nt ice skating = rusty.... lolz...But an interesting way to spend our public hols.

Our paths have crossed when we were still a child. The times where we spend our afternoon at void deck playing soccer with plastic ball, playing at each others' house, the guys being cheeky in class disturbing the gers... we were so carefree then. Time passed and we have grown to man and woman in diffferent walks of life.
The last gathering we had was 3 years ago. Yupz it's so long right.
Yesterday, we had our gathering @ Miss clarity cafe. The atmosphere was great, altho they took quite awhile to serve our food. We only had our dinner @ 9pm.Afterwhich we adjourned to 茶人之家 for our KTV session.
It's quite fun coz the guys were crappy as usual... and we had our future superstar in our midst... hhahahaha.. Looking forward to our next gathering =)
